Pensacola NAS

Last weekend I shot a wedding couple named Brad and Eve. First let me say what a beautiful couple they are! I had so much fun at their wedding. The love and emotion that they have for one another just radiates to those around them. Everything was going off without a hitch.. that is until half way through the reception. Someone tripped the fire alarms. Now if this was my wedding ceremony I would be furious! Don't get me wrong.. Eve was slightly upset at first. Then we get her on the fire truck for a little photo shoot and her spirits were lifted! After that little incident there were no other problems. The couple danced the night away and after the reception we went out back for a photo shoot. Thank you Brad and Eve for letting me be a part of your day!

Night Photography

More and more I am playing with night photography! It is amazing what can be captured. Last night (10:30p.m.) I went outside to see what I could capture around my house. I would like some feedback about the picture below. After I snapped the button, the fog started rolling in behind the trees and I thought it turned out pretty cool. What do you think?

DJ and Brittany Mosley

DJ and Brittany,

I know I posted a few pictures and comments on my previous blog regarding your wedding but I wanted you two to know how much I love you guys! You mean the world to me and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful addition to my family (Brit). I hope you enjoy your slideshow! For others that would like to view it please click the picture below.

(Edited to add: Again, I want to thank my wonderful husband Andy, Kricia and Micha for all their help that day. For those that don't know, I was IN this wedding and I was also their photographer! So my husband (whom I have been training for at least a year) was put to work along with my friends Kricia (photographer in training) and Micha (Memories by Micha). Without you three DJ and Brittany would not have the memories of their day that they have! I am so thankful to all three of you! I love you guys!)

Where did December go?

I do apologize for the delay in posting a more recent blog. December has been a whirlwind month! I had back to back appointments plus my brother and sister-in-law had their vow renewal ceremony. I was in the wedding PLUS I was also the photographer! Luckily I have WONDERFUL friends in my life that served as second photographers as well as my husband. So they had 4 photographers to capture their wedding day! Thank you SO much Kricia, Micha and Andy!!
No, I am not in this picture because I was behind my camera at the time when this picture was taken! Brittany was such a gorgeous bride! I can not tell you all how blessed I have been for her to become a part of my life! I wish them a life filled with happiness and love!

I designed many, many Christmas cards! These two just being a few samples!

(The wording is only distorted because these are not the high resolution images!)

I am currently in Cleveland, Ohio with Jason for a wedding this evening at Jacobs Fields! It's going to be really awesome! Last night Jason took me out and we did a shoot of me in my wedding dress at a place called Squires Castle. He got some AMAZING shots. If you check out his blog http://www.capturelifephoto.blogspot.com/ you will see them! I can't wait to get one printed to hang in my house! I LOVE them.. he did a fantastic job.. as usual!

After that I will be home for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and then I fly to California for a photography workshop and a wedding. I will be gone for 5 days! This is going to be yet another wonderful learning experience.

So I want to take this time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you for allowing me to serve as your photographer and I hope to continue to do so in the future!!!! I will post pictures from my new travels when I return home from California. God Bless you all!

I LOVE this time of year!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Our family had a great one, that is for sure! We went to my Mother-in-laws house and celebrated there. I don't know about all of you but I don't eat food that good any other time of year!! Thanksgiving and Christmas.. it's the time to go ALL out for food! Andy and I snapped a few quick pictures of us Thanksgiving day before we headed down. This is a busy time of year and the countdown is on for the Christmas picture order deadline! All orders must be placed by December 4th or I can not guarantee that they will be back in time to give out for gifts. My beautiful little girl is also now 9 months old!

I can't believe how quickly time has passed! She is growing so quickly! As me for me the next few weeks are going to be extrememly busy! Work, work, work and then a little play followed by more work. My Aunt Rita, Kaydence and I will be traveling to Texas on the 15th of December to visit my mom and the rest of my family for Christmas. Then I come home the 20th only to fly out the next day for a wedding in Cleveland, Ohio. Isn't that awesome?! I will be home for Christmas Eve and Day and then the 26th I fly out to California to meet the whole Jason Lanier Team as well as photograph a wedding and attend a workshop! Then I come home the 31st and have a couple days to wind down before another wedding! I will keep you all posted on my travels. It's not too late to have Christmas Beach Pictures done. This is the beautiful Robison Family!

I hope that you all have a great week! Talk to you soon!

to older children..

I just wanted to thank every customer that has given me the opportunity to meet and take photographs of such wonderful children and watch them grow up!
