Kendra and Ed

So, I met up with Kendra and Ed Saturday afternoon. Before their shoot Kendra had emailed me with an idea for their wardrobe and I must say it looked even better than I could have imagined! We went to downtown Pensacola and just let loose. Kendra and Ed were such good sports. I felt bad because Kendra had on the most AWESOME heels and we were doing a ton of walking. I know if I had been wearing them I would probably have blisters on my feet by the time we were done. Not to mention I then got them to climb on the rocks and all three of us at one point or another almost tumbled to our deaths! Or at least that is how we felt about it. I just told them to make sure and catch the camera..not to worry about me! :) So anyway.. enough writing.. here are some of my favorites from their shoot!

Ed's face is hilarious in this picture.. I love this picture.. plus the shoes are GREAT!

Michelle and Roger

I had the most fun Friday afternoon with Michelle and Roger! We started at Fort Barrancas on Pensacola NAS for their engagement shoot. It was evident right away how much in love they are! Roger surely couldn't get enough of Michelle and vice versa! We took our own private tour around the fort and then headed to the beach. There, we decided it would be fun to make Roger do push ups while Michelle sat on his back! Then, Michelle and Roger were playing and she went to run straight for him so that he could lift her up and he lost his balance and if it wasn't for fast reflexes she would have easily ended up face first in the sand behind him! As you can tell, we had a blast! It really made me feel good when Roger looked at me and said, "You know, I was not looking forward to this but I actually had a lot of fun!"
That's what is is all about! You having fun and me capturing you as you are!! I really can't wait until their wedding. We had so much fun Friday that I can't imagine the wedding being any different!!!
Take a look and let me know what you think!

Meet Major!

World, meet Major! He is a very cute 3 month old little boy that I photographed recently. He did so good considering his mom said he would not take a nap before I got there. It seems like our children never cooperate with us when we want them to!!! It was also nice to be able to cuddle with a baby instead of a toddler for once! Let me know what you think!

My baby girl is ONE today!

I really can not believe how quickly time flies. It seems like just yesterday I was holding my little girl for the first time. Now she is walking and developing into her independent ways! Here a are few pictures from birth to today! Enjoy!

Well, there you have it! This is just a small sampling of the THOUSANDS.. and yes I do mean thousands of pictures I have taken of my darling Kaydence since she was born. Until after Christmas I took pictures every week on Tuesday since she was born on a Tuesday. I hope you have enjoyed looking.

eat!, A Bridal Shower and a Rehearsal Dinner!

February 16, 2008 one of my best friends, Andrea, got married! So, the week before the wedding was pretty busy! Not only did I have "bridesmaid" obligations (so to speak.. I wanted to be there...hahaha)but I also had a wedding (see blog below). Several of the bridesmaids and I had been trying to plan a bridal shower luncheon for the day before the wedding. We decided that we would do it at Carraba's. Since we were not expecting a large crowd at the time of planning we didn't bother calling to reserve a time or table. For whatever reason, on the evening before the shower I decided to call just to let them know we might have about 10-15 people. To my dismay, I am told that they don't open until 4 o'clock! All I could think was, "Oh my gosh, what am I going to do?!" Looks like we would not be having the bridal shower at 12 at Carrabas!I called Steph, Andrea's Matron of Honor to fill her in. Since she is from Philly she couldn't really offer any other places close the the Crown Plaza where we were all staying. So, I decided to call the Crown Plaza to ask them if they had any restaurants within walking distance that they could recommend. Since so many people were flying in and taking the shuttle to the hotel we had to have somewhere close so that we did not have to worry about transportation. This was at about 8 p.m. About thirty minutes later a WONDERFUL employee at the Crown named Biko (who I had spoken with originally) called me back and gave me the name of a restaurant called eat! Yes, that's right eat! It is located on the corner of Wright Street and Palafox in downtown Pensacola.

I, as well as everyone in attendance at the bridal shower, have nothing but GREAT things to say about this restaurant. The food was AMAZING and very reasonably priced. You can check out their website at http://www.eatmorefood.com/. I would say the dress code is casual elegant. Jean's and a nice shirt are great attire for lunchtime. Dinner.. you would probably want to be a little more dressy.

As for the bridal shower, it could not have gone better! Here are some pictures of the wonderful food and festivities.

So, if you have taken the time to get to the bottom of this.. THANKS! I hope you enjoyed. My blogging is not quite over. I still have the wedding to cover as well as another recent shoot! Just keep checking back for updates!

Happy Valentine's Day!!! (late.. I know!)

I had the pleasure of spending part of my Valentine's day with Kathy and David! They were married on the beach in Destin. When I first arrived Kathy was telling me how she was so upset the day before because the weather was TERRIBLE and COLD (and boy was it.. the 30's I believe)!! She said she was nearly in tears because she was afraid that her wedding day would be ruined.

Boy was she surprised when she got up the next morning! Her wedding day could not have been more perfect. There was not a cloud in the sky. There was a slight chill in the air but it was still very comfortable outside. Take a look at their slideshow and tell me what you think!
